Same Day Emergencies

We are able to accept Same Day Emergency Visits On A First Come First Serve Basis. Some examples of same day complications include.

  1. Toothache:
    • Description: Intense or persistent tooth pain can be caused by various factors, such as tooth decay, abscess, or a cracked tooth.
    • Immediate Action: We will perform a thorough examination to identify the cause of the toothache and provide pain relief. Treatment options may include dental fillings, root canal therapy, or extraction, depending on the severity of the issue.
  2. Broken or Chipped Tooth:
    • Description: Accidents or trauma can result in a broken or chipped tooth, causing pain and compromising the tooth’s structure.
    • Immediate Action: We will assess the extent of the damage and may repair the tooth using dental bonding, a crown, or other restorative procedures to restore both function and aesthetics.
  3. Lost Filling or Crown:
    • Description: The loss of a dental filling or crown can expose sensitive tooth tissue and lead to discomfort.
    • Immediate Action: We can replace the lost filling or crown promptly to protect the affected tooth from further damage. In some cases, a temporary solution may be applied until a permanent restoration can be placed.
  4. Dental Abscess:
    • Description: An abscess is a bacterial infection that can cause swelling, pain, and pus formation around a tooth or in the gums.
    • Immediate Action: We may drain the abscess, prescribe antibiotics, and address the underlying cause, which could involve root canal therapy or tooth extraction.
  5. Soft Tissue Injuries:
    • Description: Injuries to the gums, lips, cheeks, or tongue, such as cuts, lacerations, or puncture wounds.
    • Immediate Action: We can assess and address soft tissue injuries, providing necessary care and, if needed, sutures to promote proper healing.
  6. Object Lodged Between Teeth:
    • Description: Foreign objects, such as food particles or small items, may become lodged between teeth, causing pain and discomfort.
    • Immediate Action: We can carefully remove the lodged object using specialized instruments, providing relief and preventing potential damage to the teeth and gums.
  7. Dental Trauma:
    • Description: Trauma to the face or mouth resulting in fractured, displaced, or knocked-out teeth.
    • Immediate Action: We will assess the extent of the dental trauma, stabilize or reposition teeth, and determine appropriate treatment, which may involve splinting, restorative procedures, or other interventions.

In any dental emergency, it’s crucial for individuals to contact their dentist promptly for guidance and to schedule an emergency appointment. Timely intervention can alleviate pain, prevent further damage, and contribute to better long-term oral health.
